David George Argyle was 71 when he passed away peacefully surrounded by his family April 19, 2016. He fought a short battle with brain cancer after being diagnosed on February 15, 2016.

​

He spent his youth working on a ranch, giving him a good background in cowboy life and was drawn to create western inspired pieces of art. He practiced artistic expression all of his life, oil painting, woodcarving and sculpting, and is best known for his reproductions of historical and modern day saddles.

​

When he wasn't creating or doing research you could find him working in his amazing yard or at a ball game or dance review in support of his grandchildren. David was always kind and had an infectious smile.
